Fitness franchise expands its Southern California footprint

April 06, 2022 // Franchising.com // LOS ANGELES - Gold’s Gym SoCal has officially opened the doors to Gold’s Gym Northridge, a new facility in Northridge, California.

Gold’s Gym Northridge will be the cleanest and most amenity-rich gym on the market today. The facility features a multi-million-dollar investment in state-of-the-art premium equipment - including free weights, group cycling, and exercise studios, heavy boxing bags, functional turf and a steam sauna - as well as amenities such as personal training, nutritional products, recovery massage beds and the Gold’s Gear Shop. Located in the Northridge Fashion Center, the facility has an expansive parking lot and a private entrance.

The gym is already making its mark on the Northridge community, having partnered with neighboring university Cal State Northridge (CSUN) in sponsorship of the school’s competitive sports teams. Beyond these local student athletes, Gold’s Gym Northridge’s pre-sale marketing efforts including the gym’s preview center and online pre-salehas the gym set to open with a hefty membership roster made up of local residents, businesses and many others who want to conveniently pursue their fitness journey in the San Fernando Valley. Individuals can still take advantage of the pre-sale rates during the soft opening, but the figures are subject to change in the coming weeks.

Angel and his brother, Willy Banos, Gold’s Gym SoCal COO, have established a prominent reputation as Southern California’s premiere gym operators since they opened their first Gold’s Gym franchise location in North Hollywood in 1987.
