We Sell Restaurants Adds New Franchise Territory in Charleston, SC

April 11, 2022 // Franchising.com // Palm Coast, FL - We Sell Restaurants announced its newest territory in Charleston, SC. We Sell Restaurants Charleston formally opens for business on April 11.

The new franchise is owned and operated by three partners, Tradd Bastian, Bernie Bastian, and Emily Benedict. The team will serve the greater Charleston market, including Mt. Pleasant, towns as far south as Folly Beach, and areas just north of Summerville. This will be the fourth We Sell Restaurants franchise territory in South Carolina. New territories in Columbia, Spartanburg and Greenville opened late last year.

Selling restaurants is a business transaction that requires expertise in the entire hospitality industry combined with specialized financial skills.  We Sell Restaurants brokers possess additional knowledge of the restaurant industry to assist in their clients’ transactions.

The three Charleston partners recently completed Certified Restaurant Broker (CRB) training, the most stringent program in the industry for selling restaurants. Coursework provides the specialized skills required for restaurant brokerage, including We Sell Restaurants' proprietary software, the B.O.S.S. (The Broker’s Operations and Sales System), an unrivaled platform which facilitates restaurant valuations and streamlines brokers' abilities to interact efficiently with buyers and sellers.

Tradd Bastian, a realtor since 2006, serves as President and CEO of the new Charleston We Sell Restaurants franchise. He currently owns and operates Bastian & Associates, a Charleston brokerage firm representing residential and commercial clients. Bernie Bastian, a licensed Broker at Bastian & Associates, oversees commercial development and the new restaurant brokerage. Benedict has seven years of experience as a realtor and more than 20 years as a commercial contracting partner and business development consultant. She will handle operations, finance, PR, and marketing for the We Sell Restaurants Charleston franchise.

“Our newest franchise in Charleston features three owners with long and successful track records of commercial and residential brokerage,” said We Sell Restaurants’ CEO Robin Gagnon. “Their experience in sales, real estate, and connections to the local restaurant industry are a perfect fit for We Sell Restaurants as we open our newest territory in Charleston.”
