Rush Bowls to Open First Alabama Location
Rush Bowls Brings All-Natural and Healthy Blended Fruit Bowls to Birmingham
May 05, 2022 // Franchising.com // BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Rush Bowls - the Colorado-based fast-casual concept known for its fresh and healthy meals-in-a-bowl - is happy to announce the late-May opening of its first Alabama location. This new restaurant will be opened by local husband-and-wife duo, Umair Sidat and Carrie Beers, and will be located at 113 20th St. S.
This will be the first location the couple intends on opening in the area, with plans to open two additional locations in the near future. The new restaurant is centrally located in midtown Birmingham and will feature both indoor and outdoor seating, as well as delivery and carryout options. Umair and Carrie aim to turn their new restaurant into a true family-run business and look forward to bringing a healthy food concept to their local community.
“Not too long ago, I came to realize the importance of a healthy and well-rounded diet and the difference was life-changing,” said Umair Sidat. “It brings us immense joy to share Rush Bowls’ nutritious fruit bowl and smoothie offerings with our home community.”
Rush Bowls offers its guests a wide selection of customizable bowls and smoothies. An industry pioneer in the genesis of healthy food bowls, the brand’s bowl creations provide guests with the perfect blend of all-natural fruits and veggies topped with delightfully crunchy, organic granola, a drizzle of honey, and a choice of fresh fruits and toppers. Rush Bowls can be blended with protein, vitamins and other nutritious ingredients while remaining low in calories and fat content.
“Rush Bowls sets itself apart from other concepts due to the one-of-a-kind menu items we have available,” said Carrie Beers. “The Bow Wow Bowl, a banana, peanut butter, milk and froyo bowl for dogs, is one perfect example of this and allows guests to enjoy a meal with their furry friends.”
