SafeSplash Announces Three New Franchise Deals

New locations planned for three times zones: East Coast, Midwest, and West Coast

May 25, 2022 // Franchising.com // DENVER - Summer has officially begun for three new SafeSplash franchise owners. These latest deal announcements will bring new locations for the swim instruction brands to three different time zones in the U.S. The areas of Washington D.C., Kansas City, Mo., and Sacramento, Calif. will all be the beneficiaries of the iconic swim school brand.

“Thanks to the diligence of our team and the opportunity that our swim schools are able to provide to small business owners, we’re excited to announce three new franchise deals for the SafeSplash brand,” said Matt Lane, CEO of the franchise’s parent company, Streamline Brands.

The new SafeSplash franchise owners and their respective territories include:

  • Ravi Atluri, and business partner Nagesh Puli, have signed a multi-unit agreement to launch two new dedicated facilities - both in the suburban area of the D.C.-Baltimore corridor. The swim instruction schools are planned for the Ellicott City and Crofton, Md. Market, respectively.
  • Chris Wright and his wife Stephanie Bays had three good reasons to become one of SafeSplash’s newest franchise owners – their children. All three of their kids are competitive swimmers, so this husband-wife duo decided to make a business out of it, bringing SafeSplash-branded swim schools to their local communities in Kansas City, Mo. After doing their own industry research, Chris and Stephanie plan to open a dedicated and hosted facility for their initial territory.
  • Misha Lindsey has been a competitive swimmer all her life and has provided swimming instruction to others since the age of 18. It was this passion that led her and husband Jordan to become two of SafeSplash’s newest franchise owners. Under their licensing agreement, the couple plans to open a dedicated facility and one or two additional hosted locations in their hometown of Sacramento, Calif.

Almost 30 million Americans use swimming in their exercise regimen at an estimated 300,000 facilities nationwide. Sadly, despite the widespread availability of swimming instruction, the CDC reports nearly 4,000 drownings each year, an average of 11 preventable deaths each day.
