Franchise Development Veteran Joins Tide Cleaners

Tide Cleaners Names Bill McCane as New Vice President of Franchise Development

June 10, 2022 // Franchising.com // CINCINNATI - Tide Cleaners is pleased to announce Bill McCane as its new Vice President of Franchise Development. McCane joined the Tide Cleaners team in February. The franchise veteran plans to utilize more than 15 years of experience in franchising to scale what is already the country’s leading garment care franchise.

Prior to joining Tide Cleaners, McCane worked for a number of prominent franchisors with roles in franchise operations, product marketing and business development. Most notably, he was the Vice President of Global Development at Subway. With his depth of experience, McCane has acquired a wealth of knowledge, valuable skillsets and unique insights within the franchise community. He’s eager to apply his skills to execute business growth and increase profitability in his new role at Tide Cleaners.

McCane is eager to join a team of franchising experts brought in by the leadership at Tide Cleaners to support the growth of the franchise. He is thrilled to work alongside talented team members like Vice President of Franchise Operations Jerry DeFeo, CFE (Certified Franchise Executive). DeFeo has more than 20 years of experience in franchising. McCane and DeFeo will be joined by seasoned franchise veteran Evan Brody, Tide Cleaners’ Chief Marketing Officer. Together this powerhouse of a team plans to leverage Tide’s name brand to assist their ongoing efforts to expand Tide Cleaners’ footprint nationwide.

McCane plans to establish a franchise development team by utilizing resources within the brand. They will implement new systems and procedures with the intention to make Tide Cleaners the best franchisor in the industry. McCane also plans to take advantage of P&G’s in-house technology, product testing and experts on the ground perpetually improving their services.
