Fast Moving and Portable Storage Company Providing Containers to Celebrity Golf Tournament

June 10, 2022 // Franchising.com // GREER, SC - UNITS® Moving and Portable Storage is excited to partake in the exciting BMW Charity Pro-Am event from June 6-12.

“This is a major multi-day event we’re very excited to be a part of,” says CEO Michael McAlhaney. “I’m so glad we can be a part of the golf tournament by providing storage containers to keep operations running smoothly and allowing ease of access for the incredible volunteers.”

The BMW Charity Pro-Am is part of the Korn Ferry Tour. It’s a three-day event where amateurs, celebrities, and professionals rotate between two courses: The Thornblade Club in Greer and The Carolina Country Club in Spartansburg. Typically, this event draws 40,000 spectators with 20% traveling from out of town.

UNITS Moving and Portable Storage of Greenville is providing four containers. Three will go to the Thornblade Club and one container will be used at The Carolina Country Club. The containers will be used to store volunteer uniforms, volunteer items, signage, and operational equipment.

Participants include LPGA Hall of Fame golfer Amy Alcott, actor Anthony Anderson from “Black-ish”, actor Andy Buckley from The Office, comedian Larry the Cable Guy, and Jay DeMarcus from music group Rascal Flatts to name a few of the many high profile celebrities joining in this event.
