Christian Brothers Automotive Announces Signed Agreement to Bring Seamless Car Repair to Mount Dora

Local Couple Expands Trusted Car Service and Repair Brand’s Presence in Central Florida

September 14, 2022 // Franchising.com // MOUNT DORA, Fla. - Christian Brothers Automotive is putting more Mount Dora community members in the driver’s seat when it comes to making decisions about their vehicles. The brand, ranked number one by J.D. Power in Customer Satisfaction among Aftermarket Full-Service Maintenance and Repair Providers three times in a row*, announced today a signed agreement that will expand seamless car repair services in the Golden Triangle and surrounding area.

Owned by local entrepreneur, Mike Maudlin, and his wife, Heather, the new shop marks the dawn of a new day for car care in Mount Dora. Armed with the refreshing guiding principle, “Love your neighbor as yourself,” Christian Brothers Automotive goes beyond just exemplary auto service; the brand takes a close interest in the health of its guests’ vehicles by approaching auto repair work with transparency, integrity and compassion.

“I wanted my next business venture to be with a brand that also fit with my faith-based, service-oriented leadership style. I wanted a business that would add value to the community and that people could trust,” said Mike Maudlin, who previously owned and operated an international commercial truck dealership with six locations throughout Central Florida. “Christian Brothers Automotive certainly checked all the boxes for what I was looking for, and I can’t wait to open our doors to the Mount Dora community.”

In addition to previous business ownership in the commercial trucking industry, the Maudlins have volunteered with several non-profits throughout the area, including the Camaraderie Foundation, Camp Boggy Creek and Lake Cares Food Pantry.

Joining existing shops throughout Central Florida in Alafaya, Clermont, Lakeland Heights and Oviedo, the new Mount Dora location at 18390 U.S. Highway 441 will be Christian Brothers Automotive’s 14th shop in the state of Florida.
