Maaco and Their Franchise Owners Will Celebrate Maaco’s 50th Anniversary at the 2022 Maaco Convention

Convention to Be Held November 15 through November 18 at The Omni La Costa Resort & Spain Carlsbad, Calif.

October 24, 2022 // Franchising.com // CHARLOTTE - Maaco franchise owners will be gathering from Tuesday, November 15 through Friday, November 18 for the 2022 Maaco convention in Carlsbad California, to celebrate Maaco’s 50th anniversary. The convention is a four-day event filled with motivational speakers, a vendor trade show, leadership messages, charitable events, and educational opportunities. Following a three-year hiatus, it’s also an opportunity for the network of Maaco owners to connect with one another to share ideas and best practices.

“We are exceedingly thrilled to finally be able to host our convention after a three year long hiatus,” said Chris Dawson, president, paint and collision for Driven Brands. “However, this time away has not stopped our Maaco family and they have been working diligently, achieving their best sales year ever in 2021 and building on this iconic brand to make it better than ever. We cannot wait to provide the opportunity to celebrate our network’s accomplishments in sunny California this November.”

Within the Maaco network, there are several family-run businesses, which has historically made the Maaco convention a coveted family-friendly moment. Many husband-and-wife teams, multi-generational owners and even business families who form a MSO groups, come together and enjoy the event together. For those family members, Carlsbad is a beautiful location with small-town charm, sandy beaches, outstanding shopping, and luxury restaurants.

The 2022 Maaco convention agenda is filled with four days of education, engaging discussions networking opportunities, a charity golf tournament, a charity fall festival, and an awards gala.

The convention will kick off with a welcome party for all attendees to reconnect and network in person for the first time in three years. From here, the second day will include general sessions with messages from Maaco’s senior leadership team, giving insights in the areas of strategy, analytics, marketing, training, operations, a live panel, and a message from keynote speaker Mike Anderson of Collision Advice.
