JAN-PRO Franchise Development Celebrates New Award Winners

The brand recently hosted their annual conference for the JAN-PRO Franchise Development community, awarding two new Certified Business Owner of the Year winners

November 01, 2022 // Franchising.com // ATLANTA, GA - JAN-PRO Franchise Development recently hosted their annual conference this past week in San Diego, California. This conference is designed for JAN-PRO Franchise Development owners to provide updates on the business, share best practices and learnings for the brand, and network with the JAN-PRO Franchise Development community. During the event, the team takes time to honor and celebrate two Certified Business Owners (CBOs) from the network and award them with the Certified Business Owner of the Year title. This year’s award recipients are Angel Ruiz from Charlotte, NC and Fermina Artega Estefes from Nashville, TN.

Angel Ruiz has been an independent JAN-PRO Cleaning & Disinfecting owner since 2004. Over the course of the past 18 years, Angel has demonstrated unwavering determination and hard work to help build his successful cleaning business, and is now viewed as a mentor for other CBOs who often come to him for advice and training. He is consistently working to stay up to date on the latest products, processes, and techniques to ensure his business and employees are set up for success.

“The path to business success is a never-ending journey,” says Ruiz. “There is always a next step and that next bit of knowledge that will further assist my company in its path forward. Business success to me is when the fruits of my labor reflect strong moral choices on a day-to-day basis. As for my personal success, it is to have my family thrive in all aspects.”

The second winner, Fermina Artega Estefes, is known for her undeniable dedication to ensuring her customers are happy. This emphasis on customer service is reflected in the sheer growth she has seen over the past three years, currently growing at more than 30% per year in revenue. Fermina’s dedication to her customers as well as her team has made her a popular role model within the JAN-PRO Cleaning & Disinfecting network, and her customers know that when they work with her, they will be taken care of.

“My family and my children are my motivation to keep going every day,” says Fermina. “I work hard and do the best I can to keep my customers pleased and satisfied with our service. I am happy with my customers’ continued happiness, as it shows I am doing a good job and helps my company continue to grow.
