Artichoke Basille’s Pizza To Open Phoenix Location On November 19th

November 10, 2022 // Franchising.com // PHOENIX, AZ - Artichoke Basille’s Pizza is set to open its doors in the Phoenix Desert Ridge Marketplace on November 19th. Located at 21001 North Tatum Blvd, Suite 40-1365 and situated next to Copper Blues Live comedy and music venue, the renowned pizza establishment will be serving up its pies and slices to guests at the marketplace for entertainment, retail, and dining in Phoenix.

The restaurant will combine the vibe of the modern open air marketplace with Artichoke Basille’s iconic New York ambiance and decor. The classic exposed brick walls are matched with trendy Phoenix architecture including an open ceiling, coveted red tufted booths, TVs throughout, and two garage doors situated above the huge rectangle indoor/outdoor bar leading to the patio.  The patio, which wraps around the building, will be outfitted with astroturf, outdoor TVs, and a misting system to keep guests cool and comfortable. The menu at the Artichoke Desert Ridge location will offer Artichoke’s iconic menu of traditional pies including Margherita, Pepperoni, and Meatball, alongside signature options such as the namesake Artichoke Pie and creative Crab Pie. Appetizers, sandwiches, pasta, salads, and desserts will also grace the menu in addition to a full bar offering a range of wines, cocktails, and 12-16 beers on tap.

The Arizona franchisees have brought the famed pies to the Grand Canyon state with locations in Tempe (1120 Baseline Rd.) and Phoenix (6031 N 16th St). “We’re beyond excited to finally be opening at the lively Desert Ridge Marketplace, which is home to a diverse assortment of attractions and nightlife that make it a hotspot in the area and the perfect location for the Artichoke concept,” said Arizona Franchisee Ron Marino. “We can’t wait to open our doors and  begin serving guests a classic taste of Artichoke Basille’s Pizza.”

Founded by fourth-generation pizzaiolos, Artichoke Basille’s Pizza established their first location in New York City’s East Village in 2008, and the city’s late-night dining scene (and pizza scene in general) hasn’t been the same since. Revelers and pizza lovers lined up at all hours for a taste of their now-legendary Artichoke Pizza, and since then, more than a dozen additional locations have opened across the country.
