Buff City Soap Expands Plant-Based Products to Laurel

December 02, 2022 // Franchising.com // LAUREL, Miss. - Buff City Soap will soon be opening a new location in Laurel. The new store will be located at 317 W. Oak St. and is slated to open Nov. 11.

To celebrate the opening, the first 50 people who visit the new store in Laurel, each day from Friday, Nov. 11 – Sunday, Nov. 13 for the VIP Event will receive Free Soap for a Year. In addition to the VIP Event, the Grand Opening Event will be held from Thursday, Nov. 17 – Friday, Nov. 20 where customers will have their second chance to win free soap for a year each day that Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. A multitude of additional activities will be offered during the Grand Opening Event including a free bath bomb class, soap making class and gift certificate giveaway.

“Laurel is a very welcoming community and we are extremely excited to make it a new home for Buff City Soap,” said local representative, Kara Brandy. “We can’t wait to begin showing off our wonderfully scented, plant-based products and create new fans of Buff City Soap products here in Laurel.”

Founded in 2013, Buff City Soap has created a high-quality alternative to commercial soap products full of harsh chemicals, detergents, animal fats, and sulfates. By giving customers the chance to see the whole making process live in each Soap Makery, Buff City Soap is disrupting the consumer goods industry by focusing on transparency of ingredients and process.

Each Buff City Soap store offers more than 30 unique and customizable scents across dozens of handcrafted soap products; including its famous soap bars, bath bombs, foaming hand soap, and even laundry soap. The brand’s products are crafted by local artisans at the in-store Makeries, which allow guests to customize the scent and ingredients used in the process to create a unique scent profile.

The Laurel store hours will be Monday – Thursday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday – Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, noon to 6 p.m.
