The Covery Announces Upcoming New Orleans Location

February 15, 2023 // Franchising.com // Baton Rouge, LA - The Covery has announced their newest location in Louisiana. The new location will be located at 4712 Magazine St, Suite B and will open in Q2 of this year, led by Louisiana natives Jacob Tramontin and Sasha Area.

Tramontin and Area both decided to enter the wellness field due to their personal experience with health. Area had always been health-conscious, but noticed that after having children, her personal wellness took a backseat. After experiencing continuous illness and lower energy levels, she eventually started thinking about ways to boost her health. Around this time, Tramontin, who had also begun to prioritize his wellness, approached her with the idea of opening The Covery in New Orleans, and Area was immediately hooked on the idea.

“Turning 40 last year really flipped a switch for me and I began to be more interested in self-care,” said Tramontin. “I looked into options in the New Orleans area and didn’t see anything that really fit the bill for me until I learned about The Covery. I was intrigued by the convenience of having all the modalities that are offered under one roof, and was impressed with the quality of service.”

The Covery’s newest location will not be the first time Tramontin and Area have been in business together. In their previous positions in the law field, they worked together for several years. The two were able to develop into a great team that will transition well into their newest venture.

The idea of The Covery started in early 2019, as the fitness industry continually grows to embrace trends such as HIIT, Yoga, and Pilates programs. The Covery Wellness Spa recognized that recovering from these workouts was just as important as the actual workout itself. This concept quickly leaped from those who work out to everyone and the natural stresses in their daily lives. The Covery views everyday life as a sport, so people should have the opportunity to recover just as athletes do.
