Spherion Appoints Michael Boyle as Senior Vice President

Staffing and Recruiting Franchise Grows Leadership Team with Industry Veteran

June 02, 2023 // Franchising.com // ATLANTA – Spherion Staffing and Recruiting (Spherion) recently announced the appointment of industry veteran Michael Boyle as a new Senior Vice President (SVP). In his role, Boyle will oversee the business strategy for all of Spherion’s professional IT offices as well as a portfolio of professional and general staffing offices across 12 states.

“After nearly two decades of time apart, I’m thrilled to return to Spherion in a role where I can leverage my unique skill set and perspective gained from my professional experience to help Spherion entrepreneurs map out a business strategy,” said Boyle, who first joined the company in 2002 developing employer relationships for Spherion Philadelphia before leaving to pursue entrepreneurship in 2009. “This new role is a passion project for me, and I’m 100% committed to helping the franchise owners achieve their goals.”

Before joining Spherion as an SVP, Boyle’s professional career was primarily dedicated to working with business owners and individual franchises to help them grow organically through strategic planning, operational optimization, and the creation of strong teams. He first entered the staffing and recruiting industry in 2000, working with a local staffing agency in Philadelphia before joining Spherion in 2002. In 2018, Mike joined RCM Technologies as senior vice president of IT Consulting and Solutions where he was quickly promoted to division President of Information Technology Services. Under his leadership, the business grew from $26 million to $34 million in less than two years. Boyle’s multifaceted career experience, on both the corporate side with Spherion and as an entrepreneur and former consultant in the IT industry, allows him to bring a new perspective and skillset to Spherion.

“I’ve known Mike professionally for a long time, and first met him as a colleague when I joined Spherion in 2004. We’re incredibly grateful to have him back at Spherion as part of our leadership team,” said Kathy George, executive vice president of franchise development and growth. “He brings a wealth of experience as well as an admirable passion for helping franchise owners reach their goals. He’s a perfect fit for the brand.”
