The location, owned and operated by passionate senior care advocate Puru Naktode, opened on June 5th and will serve Irving, Grand Prairie, and Dallas. Senior Helpers of Irving offers an array of services to help people age comfortably and safely in their homes, from assistance with daily activities to specialized care for chronic diseases.

“Opening a senior care business has always been a dream of mine. Naktode moved to Irving from India 25 years ago. He’s recently experienced the global issue of finding quality care for seniors. His father passed away in 2021, and his mother, who had Parkinson’s, followed just one month later. During the time leading up to their passings, Naktode watched as his parents battled to find quality care.

“After my last visit with my mom, I promised to open a quality senior care business that helps with specialized needs like Parkinson’s. Seniors should receive the chance to live where they feel comfortable and have control over what they can and can’t do within reason. Through my business, I hope to do that,” said Naktode.
