FullSpeed Automotive® Promotes Scott Accardo to Vice President of Operations of SpeeDee Oil Change & Auto Service®

June 16, 2023 // Franchising.com // Greenwood Village, CO – FullSpeed Automotive, home to flagship brands Grease Monkey®, SpeeDee Oil Change & Auto Service®, and Kwik Kar®, recently promoted Scott Accardo to Vice President of Operations for SpeeDee Oil Change & Auto Service.

At the age of seven, Accardo began his career with SpeeDee, vacuuming at his father’s SpeeDee store. Accardo’s father was SpeeDee’s very first franchisee, joining the brand in 1982. Accardo worked at his father's three locations as a kid and helped manage the stores, later becoming an owner/manager of the Covington, LA, location for 12 years. His career with SpeeDee continued when he became a Franchise Support Director for SpeeDee Worldwide, then an Integration Shop Operations Manager for SpeeDee/Midas/TBC.

His career with the company advanced when he was promoted to Operations Manager for over 65 locations in the central U.S. for SpeeDee and Midas. He has also held positions within FullSpeed as Re-Image Specialist, Director of Acquisitions and Conversions, and Sr. Director of Facilities Management. Collectively, Accardo boasts over three decades of experience in the automotive industry, dedicated to helping grow brands under the FullSpeed umbrella.

I’m very excited to be able to promote him to the position of VP of Operations at SpeeDee. Having held almost every position for the brand, I know he will do great things in this new role.”

In his new role, Scott will oversee all aspects of franchise operations and franchisee relations, helping franchisees to be more successful and profitable.
