Former Advertising Executive and Passionate Parent Expanding Leading Early Learning School into North Chicagoland

July 24, 2023 // Franchising.com // Chicago, Ill. - Children’s Lighthouse Early Learning School™ has announced a signed agreement to launch a new location in the north suburbs of Chicago. The forthcoming location will be locally owned and operated by Kristi Rabska Noonan - an accomplished businesswoman and passionate parent.

As a 20-plus-year advertising and marketing executive, Noonan built and guided teams in developing advertising campaigns for her Fortune 500 clients, using a deep understanding of human behavior and psychology to craft compelling campaigns. Then, as a passionate parent, she found herself immersed in parenting blogs, books and forums, always seeking to learn skills on becoming a better parent - one who taught her kids life skills to become successful and resilient humans. In sharing those learnings with families, friends and colleagues, Noonan discovered an unexpected spark of joy in the feeling of community that can come from the collective teamwork of inspiring and motivating children. “As they say, it takes a village,” Noonan found herself saying again and again.

Having enrolled her own children at the existing North Center Chicago Children’s Lighthouse school, she found great value in the curriculum and the environment that her children benefited from while there. And after experiencing the loss of a child due to a rare and life-threatening pregnancy complication, Noonan sought out her new life mission. Now, Noonan wants to focus her efforts on expanding the number of children she inspires beyond her own and create a supportive and relationship-driven village for families through her Children’s Lighthouse school. “The chance to guide children and families through life’s challenges and to empower them with the skills and knowledge to overcome any obstacle, was the perfect intersection of my expertise and new-found purpose,” said Noonan. “My son attended Children’s Lighthouse, and my daughter is currently enrolled, so I wholeheartedly believe in Children’s Lighthouse both as a parent and now as a franchise owner. This opportunity is allowing my professional acumen and personal passions to truly unite.”

Noonan feels honored to offer the nationally accredited Children’s Lighthouse program to additional families seeking high quality care with a focus on four key areas: Confidence, Connection, Continuous Improvement and Curriculum. With site selection underway, the prospective Children’s Lighthouse school is expected to open in 2024 and aims to serve the communities of Lincolnwood, Skokie, Niles, Evanston, Glenview and Northfield.
