Famous Toastery Brings in Experienced Training Program Developer to Build on Brand Experience

August 01, 2023 // Franchising.com // CHARLOTTE, NC – Famous Toastery has added Kellyann Higgins as its new Senior Director of Training and Development, bringing to the franchise brand over a decade of experience in successfully developing people to reach their highest potential.

In her new role, Higgins will capture the culture, refining procedures and highlighting guest services in training programs that will support the brand’s growth. She will also refine training programs and overall procedures for franchisees that are engaging and yield positive business outcomes.

“Having owned my own business and realizing the challenges that come along with the journey, I look forward to ensuring the success of franchisees by providing the training and development tools they require for clear direction, consistency, and execution that translates into results for their business,” said Higgins. “Working with brand leadership and frontline employees, I’ll take a collaborative approach in helping those across the entire system achieve optimal performance through training programs that are structured, engaging and capture the systems and values of the brand.”

Higgins previously served as the Director of Training & Operation Services for Mimis Café overseeing people development and the implementation of operational systems and processes. Higgins was also a successful small business owner and operator for many years where she learned the importance of employee engagement and a positive culture as the key factors in building relationships and achieving sustainable results.
