Boutique Fitness Studio Announces Third Annual Row House Regatta

August 02, 2023 // Franchising.com // IRVINE, Calif. - Row House is hosting an indoor team rowing competition at studios nationwide from August 1 through 31, 2023. “Every Meter Counts” in the third annual Row House Regatta, which will allow studios to go head-to-head against all Row House studios to compete for the most meters rowed throughout the month.

The annual fitness challenge is inspired by the authentic regatta rowing events held on lakes and rivers, dating back to 1775. It is designed to showcase rowers’ skill, speed, and endurance while fostering friendly competition and camaraderie. Row House Regatta ranks among Row House’s most popular events.

This year, over 90 studios across the country are participating, inviting members and friends to row for their local studio. Meters rowed by anyone in the studio during any class will count. Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place studios who log the farthest distances. A prize will also be awarded to the studio with the greatest increase in meters rowed year over year.

“The Row House Regatta is an event that is totally unique to Row House. Nowhere else can over 90 local studios compete against each other as a crew over an entire month, where every meter rowed by every person regardless of their skill or experience makes a difference,” said Jeff Miller CMO of Row House.

Studios are inviting new guests to try their first class free as part of the event. Participating Row House studios are also offering custom Regatta themed 4-class and 8-class session packages to encourage more people to rack up more miles with their local studio.

Through the comprehensive class selection at Row House, individuals can boost their strength, fitness level, and confidence. Expert coaches lead dynamic 45-minute full and 30-minute express classes with movements on and off the rower, helping people work out 100% of their body's muscle and achieve the results they deserve.

Row House provides everyone with an experience that fosters a genuine connection to the sport of rowing while helping to achieve their fitness goals. Not only do members row in-sync to the beat of the music at times during classes, all studios include state-of-the-art Concept2 rowing machines, which are used worldwide by elite-level and everyday athletes.
