Eggs Up Grill Executes Multi-Unit Development Agreement for Melbourne, Florida
August 04, 2023 // Franchising.com // SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Eggs Up Grill, a breakfast, brunch and lunch concept, has signed a development agreement with Chris Schmidt to open two Eggs Up Grill in Melbourne, Fl. Schmidt plans to open the first of his locations in early 2024.
Schmidt has spent the last five years as senior director of information security for Denny’s. He began researching franchise opportunities to open in Melbourne, Fla - he and his wife are alumni of Florida Tech – after they returned to the coastal area in 2000. Their goal was to eventually open and scale a business that could help integrate them back into the community they love.
“After spending the last five years in the restaurant industry, what really sets Eggs Up Grill apart is its smaller real estate footprint and its technology capabilities” said Schmidt. “I also love the hours with the simple breakfast, brunch and lunch model.”
