Mosquito Squad Hires Public Health Expert Dr. Kurt Vandock as Vice President of Strategic Growth

August 10, 2023 // Franchising.com // COLUMBIA, Md. - Mosquito Squad has named global specialty agriculture leader Dr. Kurt Vandock as its Vice President of Strategic Growth. With this new position, Dr. Vandock will be responsible for refining marketing strategies, increasing service offerings, and further developing the general pest control model for the brand as it continues to differentiate itself as a market leader.

“Kurt is an innovator and recognized as an expert in the industry after working in public health, pest management, and scientist roles for over two decades. He is also passionate about developing sustainable solutions and building successful teams,” said Jef Flournoy, President of Mosquito Squad.

Prior to joining Mosquito Squad, Dr. Vandock worked with Bayer CropScience for close to 10 years, most recently as Head of Public Health. He also served as a Captain in the U.S. Army Medical Service Corp. for nearly 11 years as an entomologist, which included a year of deployment during Operation Enduring Freedom.

Dr. Vandock holds a doctorate in biological sciences from Bowling Green State University with a concentration in cell biology, entomology/parasitology, and public health. He has authored manuscripts, numerous articles, abstracts, and presentations. Founded on sustainable development principles, Dr. Vandock has launched many innovations in the environmental health space with multiple granted patents.
