Epcon Franchising Adds New Franchise Builders in 2023

August 29, 2023 // Franchising.com // COLUMBUS, OHIO - Epcon Franchising has announced the addition of three new Franchise Builders in the first half of 2023. The new Franchise Builders will build their Epcon communities in three different states.

The new Epcon Franchise Builders are:

  • Chipeta Hollows Construction, Grand Junction, Colorado: Husband and wife partners Charlie and Wendi Gechter are adding 55+ housing to their business portfolio with Epcon. The parent home building company, BOA Builders, was founded in 1982 by Wendi’s father and provides custom building, commercial contracting, remodeling and land development services throughout the Grand Valley area.
  • South Shore Communities, Valparaiso, Indiana: Owner Chuck Williams is involved with real estate development and consulting, working on both residential and commercial projects. In addition to the numerous commercial builds he has completed and the hundreds of home sites he has developed, Chuck was previously the owner of a Service Master franchise. He is also currently developing land for a 240-unit community in Northwest Indiana.
  • Elysian Enterprises, Sunbury, Ohio: Elysian Enterprises is led by Morgan Knapp. Morgan has worked for Epcon Communities since 2010 as a sales consultant and regional sales manager. She has successfully launched over a dozen new communities in central Ohio and led her teams to sell through over two dozen communities.

“Epcon Franchising’s fresh group of new Franchise Builders in 2023 comes from a range of backgrounds,” said Paul Hanson, president of Epcon Franchising. “They are taking advantage of Epcon’s experience and the resources Epcon has developed over the last several decades to jump right into the growing segment of 55+ housing.”
