Sylvan Learning Awards Territory to Educator in Ohio

October 18, 2023 // Franchising.com // BALTIMORE — Sylvan Learning transferred ownership of its Fairlawn, Ohio center to Krystle Nichols.

Nichols primarily worked with middle and high school students as an English language arts teacher and instructional coach throughout her career in education. Prior to franchising with Sylvan, she explored opportunities outside of the classroom.

“I wanted to stay in education but venture into entrepreneurship, so Sylvan is the best of both worlds,” said Nichols. “I looked into other education franchise concepts and found Sylvan to have the strongest brand recognition with a proven concept. I’m excited to assume ownership of the Fairlawn center and build on the established relationship with students in the local community.”

Sylvan Learning has been producing proven results for more than four decades. Now, it serves as a key resource for students nationwide as they work to recover from pandemic-related learning loss. Similarly, more educators than ever are exploring business ownership with the brand to provide personalized educational support to their communities.
