Mathnasium of 4S Ranch Celebrates 10-Year Anniversary with Community Celebration

\November 01, 2023 // Franchising.com // SAN DIEGO, Ca. - Mathnasium s set to honor the 10-year anniversary of its 4S Ranch location in San Diego with a celebratory event on November 4. Located 10543 4S Commons Dr Ste 175, community members are welcomed and encouraged to join in on the fun from 12 to 3 p.m. as the event is free and open to the public.

The 4S Ranch location is owned by the Lossing family. The entrepreneurial family is made up of Karen, a former teacher and school administrator, her husband, Steve, and their children, Libby and Evan, who serve as second-generation franchise owners with Mathnasium. The Lossings have now grown their Mathnasium presence in San Diego to include additional learning centers in Carlsbad and La Jolla.

The 4S Ranch location was the first Mathnasium learning center the Lossings opened, serving as a reminder of where they started and how much they have achieved.

“Over the past 10 years we have had many proud moments, but what makes us most proud is watching the kids who struggled, start to succeed,” said Karen. “Our 4S Ranch location has helped over 2,000 students in the past 10 years, and five of those past students now work in our center. Seeing the lasting effect of Mathnasium is all the reason for our team to continue working hard in the years to come. Our anniversary celebration is our way of giving back to the community and reminisce on the impact we have had in each and every one of our student’s lives.”

To commemorate the 10-year anniversary, Mathnasium will be running a series of STEAM activities, including slime stations, friendship bracelet making, math games, and giveaways, along with food and beverages.
