Popular buffet-style restaurant to reopen Jackson-area location with fresh, new look

November 08, 2023 // Franchising.com // RALEIGH, N.C. - Golden Corral's Flowood, Mississippi location is welcoming guests with a modern update and enhanced dining experience after 15 years.

Located at 988 Top Street off Highway 25, a new entrance design and captivating fireplace set the stage for an inviting experience. The remodeled Golden Corral also boasts an all-new buffet bar, tables and chairs — including cozy booths and roundtables — and plateware to provide guests with a new dining energy yet wholesome feel that the brand is known and loved for.

“We’re proud to have been serving the Flowood community for 15 years so far and excited to give them a refreshed look of Golden Corral,” said Bill Linson, Golden Corral franchisee. “These renovations will give our family-friendly restaurant a great, modern look, and we’ll be able to accommodate diners more comfortably than ever.”

Not even a temporary closure could stop Golden Corral from delivering unmatched service and illustrating its steadfast commitment to providing excellent guest experiences. Throughout the two-week renovation, team members were in the parking lot every day to greet guests with free meal coupons. With more than 1,000 coupons handed out, the Flowood team looks forward to seeing how much their guests enjoy their next dining experience in the newly renovated restaurant.

The Flowood Golden Corral is open Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and weekends 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Golden Corral’s legendary, endless buffet features an abundant variety of quality, scratch-made dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Guests can choose from over 100 items, including USDA grilled-to-order steaks, pork, seafood and shrimp, alongside traditional favorites like pot roast, fried chicken, meatloaf, mac and cheese, fresh salads and more.
