Celebree School Donates $12,500 to the Boston Children’s Hospital Ahead of Market Debut

Early Childhood Education Franchise Ignites Community Giveback Efforts, Eager to Open First Boston-Area School in 2025

December 01, 2023 // Franchising.com // BOSTON - Celebree School, a leader in early childhood education that provides infant and toddler care, preschool, before and aftercare, donates $12,500 to the Boston Children’s Hospital to support the Champions for Children’s Gala that took place on November 28. Funds raised through Champions for Children’s go directly to helping patients through Boston Children’s Every Child Fund - providing lifesaving care and research breakthroughs to kids with rare and complex conditions.

“At Celebree, our commitment to nurturing children and their families runs deep. Being able to make this donation and impact families and their children aligns with our core mission and truly means the world to us," said Richard Huffman, Founder and CEO of Celebree School. “We can’t wait to get the doors of our first Boston-area school open and serve this wonderful city. Until then, we’ll continue to find ways to give back.”

Celebree School has awarded a franchise to local husband-wife duo Nick and Nikki Foundas, who boast a collective four-decade career in HR and education. They are set to open Celebree School of Sudbury in Q1 2025. The college sweethearts have been married for 15 years, raising three beautiful children. The donation to the Boston’s Children Hospital is near and dear to their hearts as their youngest son, Nico (now 5), was born at 25 weeks and spent significant time in the NICU. The Foundas family are very committed to community efforts supporting the NICU on a personal level. This donation from Celebree School further cements the sense of family, community, and overall aligned values with the brand.

“When we decided to pursue business ownership, we were seeking an opportunity that allowed us to give back to our community in a meaningful way,” said Nikki Foundas. “What we found with Celebree is a passionate, close-knit group of leaders and professionals who are committed to providing high-quality of care, and we could not be more excited or proud to be part of this brand’s growth story – opening the first Boston-area Celebree School,” added Nick Foundas.

Alongside the Foundas’ opening, Celebree School is in site selection for a corporate location. This will help support continued growth and enhance brand awareness whileawarding franchise agreements across Boston, that holds potential for up to 32 schools. As Celebree School seeds the market with a corporate hub, the brand will have the opportunity to truly become a local expert. Not only will this aid in identifying prime areas for growth, but it will also play a critical role in recruitment, enrollment, and training as part of franchisee onboarding and opening.

2023 is proving to be a momentous year for Celebree School, having already welcomed 20 new franchisees comprising of 45 franchise and future development agreements. The franchise brand now boasts 46 schools open, 55 franchisees awarded over 100 sites, a presence across 14 states, and an enrollment of more than 4,570 children who are being protected, educated, and nurtured within the Celebree family.

Celebree School lives by its promise to Grow People Big and Small™, and was founded on the belief that success in early childhood development is equal parts curriculum and a connection that extends beyond the classroom to address the needs of the whole child and the whole family.
