Zaxby's Grows in Southern Mississippi with First Location in Biloxi

December 12, 2023 // Franchising.com // ATHENS, Ga. - Zaxby's® is opening its first location in Biloxi, Mississippi at 2441 Pass Rd. The new Zaxby's, owned and operated by Pass Road Poultry, LLC, is opening for both drive-thru and dine-in. To celebrate the grand opening, the first 100 guests in line who make a purchase will receive FREE Zaxby's for a year.* The event will be covered live by local Gulfport radio station WZKX Kicker 107.9 FM.

“Opening Zaxby’s restaurants along the Gulf Coast for almost 20 years, the Biloxi location is one we are most excited about. We have been doing business in Harrison County since 2017 and have always wanted to bring a store to Biloxi,” said David Marks, operating partner at Pass Road Poultry, LLC. “The opportunity to open our fourth Zaxby’s location on the Mississippi Gulf Coast is exciting and humbling. We’re grateful to the communities that have supported Zaxby’s and look forward to serving the residents of Biloxi.”

The restaurant has an expansive dining room that seats up to 56 guests and features Zaxby's classic white farmhouse-style design. Equipped with a double drive-thru layout, complete with Zaxby's new digital menu boards, the new restaurant aims to streamline payment and pickup process for guests who are seeking expedited service.

Zaxby's serves fresh, prepared-at-order Chicken Fingerz and wings tossed in a variety of bold and spicy sauces. The menu features the wildly popular Fried Chicken Philly limited-time offer, Zaxby's fan-favorite Fried Pickles and its most recently added LTO–Chicken Parm Loaded Fries. The new menu item starts with Zaxby’s crispy, crinkle-cut fries, topped with its signature hand-breaded chicken and parmesan cheese. The dish is then drizzled with garlic aioli and marinara sauce to give it a rich and savory flavor. The snackable delicacy is still available at participating locations until Jan. 7, 2024.

The new Zaxby's location is the fourth to flock to Southern Mississippi and the 15th restaurant owned by seasoned licensees Hudson Sandefur and David Marks of Pass Road Poultry, LLC. The new location offers up to 50 new employment opportunities to the Biloxi community.
