The location opened in October, and is owned and operated by Minette and Daniel Martin. The husband and wife team are serial entrepreneurs who have owned and operated multiple companies and rental properties. Their operational team currently consists of two full-time employees: Jesse Kirby (Sales and Operations Manager) and Hunter Hoppstein (Lead Tech). In their free time, the Martins like to stay active by traveling and working out.

“Since Daniel and I are almost empty nesters, with our oldest in college and our two youngest just a few years from graduating high school, we felt we had the bandwidth to create an additional revenue stream for our next chapter of life. The two of us are no stranger to taking calculated risks, with Daniel owning and operating multiple businesses while being employed at a tech company and, for me, following my lifelong dream of acting and producing at the age of 44. Because of this, we couldn’t wait to bring our can-do attitude into owning and operating a business,” said Minette Martin, owner of Blue Kangaroo Packoutz of East Tennessee.
