Penn Station East Coast Subs Opens Restaurant in Oxford, Ohio

Sandwich Franchise Offers Eat-In Dining, Carryout and Catering

December 20, 2023 // Franchising.com // CINCINNATI, OHIO - Penn Station East Coast Subs, a leading fast-casual sandwich restaurant franchise, recently opened its newest restaurant in Oxford, Ohio.

The new restaurant opened on November 30 and is located at 3600 Southpointe Parkway in Oxford. The restaurant will be open Monday – Thursday, 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday 10:30 a.m. to Midnight, and Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Cincinnati-based Penn Station East Coast Subs serves an assortment of hot grilled and cold deli classic sandwiches, including the chain’s renowned Philadelphia cheesesteak sandwich, wraps, and salads made to order with high-quality ingredients. The menu also includes fresh-cut fries, hand-squeezed lemonade and fresh-baked chocolate chunk cookies. Penn Station offers eat-in dining, carryout, delivery, and catering.

The new restaurant in Oxford is operated by the Quaker Hospitality Holdings ownership group of Andrew Brennan, Lachlan McLean, and Keith Gavin. Oxford marks the 20th Penn Station restaurant the group owns, with 15 in the Dayton area and five in the Cincinnati market. They plan on opening another Penn Station restaurant in Greenville, Ohio in 2024.

“We’ve had a wonderful reception from residents, college, and high school students in the area since our opening,” said Brennan. “So many people from around the region are familiar with the Penn Station brand and are eager and excited to support it at our new location in Oxford.”

The new restaurant in Oxford is also located in the college town of Miami University. Penn Station Founder and CEO, Jeff Osterfeld, graduated from Miami University in 1982 before establishing Penn Station East Coast Subs three years later.

“To be able to open a restaurant here in Oxford, the home of Miami University is a full circle moment,” said Brennan. “We are now serving food to students at the university our founder attended, which shows incredible growth of the brand from a single location to more than 300 across the country.”
