Amazing Athletes Launches Year-Round Developmental Sports Program in Three Tampa Bay Locations
January 02, 2024 // Franchising.com // TAMPA BAY, FL - Amazing Athletes s proud to announce its official launch of three concurrent locations to existing Soccer Stars locations in Tampa Bay beginning in the new year. Amazing Athletes and Soccer Stars are a part of Youth Athletes United.
The three Tampa Bay locations are owned and operated by the trio of Brad Bunin, Ed Thomas and Storie Estes who have a passion for sports and serving their community. Brad Bunin had a background in sales but wanted to find a deeper purpose that could have a lasting impact and empower others. Prior to joining Soccer Stars, Ed Thomas always had a desire to work in sports and was a part of a nonprofit organization that helped individuals improve their lives and their communities through youth sports. Lastly, Storie Estes’ passion started with Soccer Stars and Amazing Athletes when she was a coach for the brand for eight years in various communities in Georgia, New York and the DC area. Now the team is launching Amazing Athletes with the purpose of providing local Tampa Bay children an outlet to have fun in a noncompetitive, educational environment.
“Many people underestimate the amount of work and impact you can have on the world by doing something you love and that you are passionate about,” said local Soccer Stars and Amazing Athletes Owner Brad Bunin. “A component of both Amazing Athletes and Soccer Stars is that it is an enrichment program that is designed to improve and empower the lives of children. We are thrilled to launch Amazing Athletes.”
“When I first joined the Soccer Star family, I did not think becoming an owner was in the cards for me,” said local Soccer Stars and Amazing Athletes Owner Ed Thomas. “Today I am so proud to be a part of such a brand. Our new launch of Amazing Athletes provides us an opportunity to help younger children create a foundation for development. We cannot wait to launch Amazing Athletes in the Tampa Bay community and provide children with 10 additional sports opportunities to play and learn all as part of one singular program.”
“It has been a long dream of mine to be an owner of the very brand that shaped me,” said local Soccer Stars and Amazing Athletes Owner Storie Estes. “I now have the opportunity to share my passion with the Tampa Bay community by empowering and enriching the lives of thousands of families. I am so excited to show kids the FUN in the fundamentals of sports and fitness as part owner of Amazing Athletes.”
Over the last two decades, Amazing Athletes inspires active futures for children ages 18 months to 12 years old teaching skills from 10 different sports in a fun, non-competitive, educational environment. Amazing Athletes offers programs for all ages by partnering with schools and communities, helping to set kids on a path to an active and healthy lifestyle by teaching them the basics of sports, health and nutrition. By introducing kids to a variety of sports and physical activities, it allows them to discover and explore to find what they most enjoy and can pursue as they grow. The new additions to the Amazing Athletes curriculum showcase that the brand is listening to parents as there has been a demand for more martial arts classes for children. Now, kids of all ages can learn self-defense and karate skills which are rarely offered in communities across the country.
"We are thrilled to bring the Amazing Athletes program to these three Tampa Bay locations," said Co-Founder and CEO of Youth Athletes United, Adam Geisler.
