“Pigeon Forge has a long history as an outpost in the woods of Tennessee. Over the years, it has grown into a welcoming gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park with lodging and dining - with an emphasis on menus influenced by local specialties - to family-friendly attractions,” said Peter Hans, president of Discovery Map. “Discovery Map showcases the many recreational things to do as well as the city’s great venues.”

Discovery Map of Pigeon Forge also showcases the area's rich music scene, made famous by country music legend Dolly Parton (who hails from the neighboring town of Sevierville). In addition to the Dollywood theme park, the area is also known for its annual Barbecue & Bluegrass concert series.
