Sylvan Learning Opens New Center in Burbank

March 11, 2024 // Franchising.com // BURBANK, Calif. - Sylvan Learning has opened its newest franchise location in Burbank, Calif. at 601 Glenoaks Blvd., Suite 306 across from Red Top Market & Kitchen.

Sylvan Learning of Burbank is owned and operated by Todd Crabtree, a franchisee with eight additional centers across Southern California. Right out of college, he worked his way up from a tutor to a regional director of another tutoring brand before deciding franchise ownership with Sylvan was a better fit.

“I bought my first Sylvan in 2006 with the mindset that I would only own one, but here I am today, proud to open my eighth center with a ninth location in development,” said Crabtree. “My goal has always been to serve more people.”
