Zaxby's expands its Florida presence with first Chiefland location

March 12, 2024 // Franchising.com // ATHENS, Ga. — Chicken chain Zaxby's® is opening its first location in Chiefland, Florida at 1515 NW 25th Ave. The new restaurant is owned and operated by PBC Chicken LLC and will be open for both dine-in and drive-thru on Monday, March 18.

“We are extremely excited to open the first Zaxby’s in Chiefland,” said Patrick Atwater III, manager of the new restaurant. “The people we have worked with locally have been incredible and we are looking forward to getting to know each and every person in the community, especially local first responders and other members of community organizations.”

The new restaurant can accommodate up to 56 guests inside its dining room and features Zaxby’s classic white farmhouse exterior design. The location is equipped with a dual drive-thru to provide speedy to-go service, serving fresh, hot food every time. For even faster service, customers may also order ahead online as well as through the Zaxby’s app available for download on Google Play and the App Store.

Zaxby's serves fresh, prepared-at-order Chicken Fingerz™ and wings tossed in a variety of bold and spicy sauces. The menu also features Zaxby’s famous Signature Sandwich, its wildly popular Chicken Bacon Ranch Loaded Fries and the brand's fan-favorite Fried Pickles.

Brand fans can also enjoy five Chicken Fingerz™ with Zax Sauce® for free with a purchase of $5 or more when downloading the app and signing up for the Zax Rewardz loyalty program for the first time.

The new Zaxby's is owned by franchisees Atwater III, Pat Atwater Sr., Linda Atwater, Brian Atwater, Frances Atwater, Chad Copeland, Chad Carpenter and Shane Hudson. The group contracted Trenton-based Toney Sullivan with Fletcher construction to build the restaurant.
