PayMore Inks its First International Franchise Agreement in Canada
March 14, 2024 // Franchising.com // NEW YORK - PayMore Stores has signed its first international multi-unit deal and is set to bring 5 units to Toronto, Canada, with the first location set to open this summer.
Spearheading this deal for the brand is Ontario native Richard Price, who brings over 20 years of experience as a director of sales, selling and managing teams from SMB to enterprise in multiple successful SaaS Businesses. Though extremely successful, Richard was looking for more autonomy and freedom in his professional and personal life – which turned him to franchising with PayMore, especially with his high interest in technology.
“I wanted more freedom in my career and as a first-time entrepreneur, I also wanted to see a proven concept that will help each community that it’s a part of,” said Price.
This first location will be operated by Price, with his brother Matthew serving as General Manager.
“We’re extremely excited to debut our international franchise program with Richard in Toronto,” said Stephen Preuss, Co-Founder and CEO of PayMore Stores.
PayMore operates as a hybrid business, combining an online e-commerce platform with a physical brick-and-mortar store. Their products include the smartphones, gaming systems, tablets, and other tech gadgets.
