Loraine Sanchez, Member of LIME Painting's 'Ladies of LIME,' Leads Discussion During IFA’s 2024 Annual Conference

March 15, 2024 // Franchising.com // DENVER, CO. – This Women’s History Month, LIME Painting is highlighting Loraine Sanchez, franchise owner of LIME Painting in San Antonio Texas, who recently led a panel discussion at the International Franchise Association’s annual conference. Dedicated to empowering women, Loraine Sanchez is also a member of LIME Painting’s ‘Ladies of LIME’– an initiative committed to creating a powerful network of support for women in the home service industry.

Jessica Smith, Director of Support for LIME Painting, and Bethany Broughton, Support Team Lead for LIME Painting, started Ladies of LIME in October of 2023 with a mission to provide a system of support and guidance to the women within the LIME Painting network. LOL hosts virtual themed meetings monthly, where members can come together and have fun, while also addressing any important topics and issues. Whether a franchise partner, home office member, or wife of an owner, LOL invites everyone to be a part of the committee and empower one another to thrive in the home service and painting industry.

“We wanted to create a safe space for our members to step away from the chaos and be able to have a network of women to share their thoughts and feelings with,” said Smith. “Navigating the world of entrepreneurship can be challenging. We wanted to have a built-in level of support not seen before within the franchising space, and we wanted to go above and beyond for our LIME family. I think LOL is a testament to the love that LIME runs on.”

Recently, Loraine Sanchez was invited to speak as a panelist at the International Franchise Association’s annual convention in Phoenix, AZ. As a panelist, she spoke about the importance of diversity in the workplace and being a woman in leadership, topics that the Ladies of LIME address within their committee.

“I was honored to be given the opportunity to speak about such important topics at the IFA convention,” said Sanchez. “It’s through LIME Painting and the Ladies of LIME that I’ve been fortunate to meet and work with a community of women who are working to re-define the narrative of the painting and home service industry."
