Philly’s Best Bringing More Real Philly Flavor to Los Angeles
March 20, 2024 // Franchising.com // LOS ANGELES - Today, Philly’s Best announced the upcoming opening of a new location in the Melrose Arts District of Los Angeles. This marks the third location in the Los Angeles metro area for the Philadelphia-inspired brand.
Philly’s Best is conveniently situated along the popular shopping, dining and entertainment-filled street between Beverly Hills and the Melrose Arts District at 7350 Melrose Avenue.
With a team of local employees and management staff, the location is owned by the founders of the brand, Andrea and Bob Levey. The Leveys founded Philly’s Best in 1992 in an effort to fill the hoagie-sized hole in their stomachs and share their beloved cheesesteak sandwich with their friends and neighbors in Orange County, California.
“We’re so excited to be opening another LA area location – we’ve grown so much since Bob and I first set out to bring a taste of Philadelphia to our new home in Southern California more than 30 years ago,” said Andrea, a native Philadelphian and co-founder of Philly’s Best.
Philly’s Best’s menu is comprised of various cheesesteaks, hoagies, burgers and salads. The fast-casual sandwich shop honors its commitment to authenticity by prioritizing high-quality ingredients sourced directly from the Philadelphia area including Amoroso® Rolls and proprietary sweet pepper and pizza sauce recipes. Guests can also enjoy other unique favorites from the City of Brotherly Love on the side such as Herr’s® Chips, Pennsylvania Dutch® Birch Beer and sweet treats from TastyKake®.
