Sylvan Learning Awards Two Territories to Educator in Alabama

March 22, 2024 // Franchising.com // BALTIMORE - Sylvan Learning transferred ownership of its Birmingham and Trussville, Alabama, centers to Ira Sullivan.

Sullivan is an educator with nine years of experience in leadership and 15 in working with students, teachers and parents. He has a doctorate in education and a masters of arts in instructional leadership and administration, and he owns a private childcare center in Hoover.

“I’ve always been passionate about education and aspired to be an entrepreneur,” said Sullivan. “Sylvan allows me to have even more of a positive impact in my local community. I look forward to growing these centers to reach more students and help them along their academic journey.”

Sylvan Learning has been producing proven results for students for more than four decades. Now, as students and educators nationwide work to close the gap from pandemic-related learning loss, its resources are in more demand than ever.
