Sylvan Learning Awards Territory to Educator in Texas

March 25, 2024 // Franchising.com // BALTIMORE - Sylvan Learning transferred ownership of its Katy, Texas, center to Anum Shabbir.

Shabbir taught elementary school in Pakistan before moving to the United States, where she worked in hospitality and sales for nearly two decades.

“Franchise ownership with Sylvan allows me to pursue my passion for education and entrepreneurship,” said Shabbir. “My experience and expertise will help grow this center that has already established a strong foundation in the Katy community.”

For more than four decades, Sylvan Learning has been producing proven results for students. Now, as students and educators nationwide work to close the gap from pandemic-related learning loss, its resources are in more demand than ever.
