Special Strong Welcomes Gerry Henley as President

Gerry, who has already been consulting with Special Strong to support unit-level success, brings decades of expertise to this role to support as the company plans for growth and expansion.
“When I started franchising in 2020, I was inspired to make this growth my number one focus.” said Daniel Stein, CEO & Founder of Special Strong. “As we started to see growth and I was being pulled in multiple directions, I asked myself how we could stay focused on our franchisees to make sure they were thriving. For me, the answer was bringing on Gerry.”
Gerry is the founder of Launch to Growth, the only Business Operating System designed specifically for Franchise Systems to achieve scalable, profitable growth. He is passionate about establishing and supporting franchisor leadership teams to achieve operational excellence through proven coaching and mentoring techniques.
With more than 30 years of experience as a strategic, results-driven business development and leadership executive and more than 15 years with franchise systems, Gerry leverages his expertise in leadership, operations, strategic planning, financial management, process improvement, and team building to help franchisors achieve scalable results through their franchisees’ unit-level success.
“This has been our prayer together,” noted Gerry. “Once I got involved on a part-time basis, I knew I was hooked. The mission of Special Strong is close to my heart because I have two special needs children. I am excited to see how adaptive fitness will continue to help the community”.
Gerry had already been supporting existing Special Strong franchisees and as the company started seeing incredible growth, it became clear that in the role of President he could offer additional guidance. In this position, he’ll be able to further support unit-level performance to continue taking things to the next level.
“I knew I couldn’t do it on my own. I knew I needed someone who could take that leadership role so I can do what I do best and he can drive the ship,” said Daniel. Gerry continued, “Daniel had the foresight to recognize that this added level of support can make so much difference at this stage to be sure we’re doing things correctly. My involvement frees him up to fill his true role and allows him to be the visionary that he is. I truly believe that this is a once-in-a-generation brand opportunity.
