Located at 20160 W. 153rd Street, the Olathe spa is owned by Lisa and John Paulson and marks the brand’s 3rd location in Kansas. The local owners are committed to providing a sanctuary for the Olathe community where people can regularly invest in themselves through self-care. Lisa is a proud graduate of both Iowa State University and the University of Kansas and has spent the last 24+ years as an elementary teacher and academic coach. John holds a long-term career in engineering, working for major companies such as John Deere and Polaris.
“Hand & Stone is more than just a new business venture for me,” explained Lisa Paulson, co-owner of Hand & Stone Olathe, “I first became acquainted with the brand in 2021 and soon became an active member.” Lisa has severe arthritis and massage is one of the few remedies that provides good pain relief. It is her mission to bring the healing power of massage and transformative skin care services to the residents of Olathe, KS.
The newest Hand & Stone in Olathe brings high-quality professional massage services, including Swedish, Himalayan Salt, Sports, Deep Tissue, Oncology and Prenatal massages to the South Kansas City Metro community. Guests can also visit the new spa to enjoy Hand & Stone’s signature hot stone massage and facial and Neveskin Cryo treatments tailored to each individual's needs or skin concerns, with a wide-range of services available for women, men and teens.
Like all Hand & Stone spas nationwide, the new Olathe location offers advanced skincare and spa services that incorporate new technologies at the forefront of the wellness market to enhance each guest’s overall experience. These advanced services include Neveskin Cryo-Facial and Cryotoning, Diamond Glow facial, NuFACE microcurrent facial, and LED Phototherapy facial, as well as innovations such as CBD oil enhancements and partnerships with skincare lines Dermalogica®, Image, and ClarityRX.
