Eggs Up Grill Wraps Up Inaugural “Smiles for Good” Fundraising Campaign
June 24, 2024 // Franchising.com // SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Eggs Up Grill recently concluded its inaugural, week-long Smiles for Good fundraising campaign. With the goal of supporting local community charities, participating Eggs Up Grill restaurants accepted $1, $3 and $5 donations from guests to help spread joy, making a positive impact on each Eggs Up Grill neighborhood. Additionally, the Eggs Up Grill Brand and many of the franchisees matched the more than 4,000 guest donations, raising funds in excess of $12K on behalf of their selected charities. Franchisee Daniel Fort of Hendersonville, N.C. raised the highest amount of funds for his charity, with $792 donated to Camp Joy, a Christian co-ed camp serving those with special needs.
“At Eggs Up Grill, we believe in the power of community. It’s simply in our DNA, Neighbors serving Neighbors,” said CEO Ricky Richardson. “Our initial Smiles for Good week was an opportunity for our guests to join us in giving back to the communities that have supported us. By dining in and donating, our guests and franchise partners directly contributed to causes that bring hope and happiness to our neighbors in need.”
Eggs Up Grill local owners partnered with a diverse range of local charities for Smiles for Good Week, including Habitat for Humanity, the Legacy 4 Korean War Veterans Foundation, Give Kids the World Village, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Family Resource Center, the Free Clinic of Meridian, YMCA, animal shelters and recovery centers.
