AtWork® Set to Open in Charlotte

June 28, 2024 // Franchising.com // KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – AtWork® has awarded a territory to first-time franchisees Jocelyne Gutierrez and Paul Herrera in Charlotte, North Carolina. The location is set to open this year and marks AtWork’s second location in the Greater Charlotte area and ninth in the state.

Gutierrez comes from a background in data analytics and business intelligence, and will run the day-to-day operations of the business while Herrera will provide consulting for strategic decisions. She met Herrera while working together for a global technology company, and the couple decided to explore a new business opportunity together.

“AtWork is exactly what we were looking for in an entrepreneurial opportunity,” said Gutierrez. “We were drawn to the humanized nature of the business that directly impacts local communities. After meeting with the leadership team and other franchise owners, we were also reassured in the stability and support that comes from franchise ownership with AtWork.”

Gutierrez and Herrera recently relocated to the Charlotte area. “Charlotte has a thriving job market that is only going to keep growing, and we see a huge opportunity for AtWork’s services in supporting that trajectory,” said Gutierrez. “Running a locally-owned business is also a way for us to be more involved in the community we will soon call home.”
