Local Entrepreneur Earns Franchise Rock Star Award

July 18, 2024 // Franchising.com // DUBLIN, Ohio - A Place At Home is thrilled to announce franchise owner Fatema Kapasi was named one of Franchise Business Review’s 2024 Franchise Freshman Rock Stars. Kapasi is the franchise owner of A Place At Home - Dublin, which opened in January.

Hiring caregivers was one of Kapasi’s biggest challenges, but she persisted in finding quality caregivers who embodied A Place At Home’s values. It paid off, as she’s received an unprecedented 30 five-star reviews in the first six months of operation.

“I’m incredibly proud of the work our caregivers perform at our clients’ homes, and it’s heartwarming to watch the bonds between the caregivers and clients form,” said Kapasi. “I’ve seen how the care significantly improves their quality of life and can’t wait to continue for years to come.”

Kapasi understands what her clients’ families are going through because when it came time to find her father-in-law, who has Parkinson’s disease, an in-home caregiver, it was tough to find quality care in the Dublin area.

Before pursuing her entrepreneurial dream, Kapasi had a 20-year career in healthcare as a licensed physical therapist and healthcare marketer. Her work in diverse healthcare settings, including skilled nursing and assisted living facilities, gave her a deep understanding of the critical need for quality senior care.

“We’re just getting started here in Dublin, and this award is motivating to continue pushing the boundaries of quality care and innovation in the senior care industry,” said Kapasi.

Kapasi and her team of compassionate caregivers help seniors age in place by offering a comprehensive range of senior-focused care services.
