Mr Brews Taphouse Continues Growth with Expansion into Arkansas

July 24, 2024 // Franchising.com // BIRNAMWOOD, Wisc. – Mr Brews Taphouse will soon expand into Arkansas via a franchise partnership with Andy Patel, President and CEO of Span Holding LLC of Little Rock.

The new Mr Brews Taphouse will be located at Park Plaza, Little Rock's premier shopping and retail destination, at 6000 West Markham Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. Mr Brews Taphouse will be the first taphouse in Little Rock's Midtown corridor. Patel views this venture as an excellent opportunity to diversify his investments as Span Holding's portfolio currently consists of hotels.

“I've been so fortunate to have found success as a hotelier and it felt like now was the right time to push myself into new territories,” said Andy Patel. “This partnership with Mr Brews Taphouse is the next step in my evolution as an entrepreneur in the hospitality space and I am thrilled to work with such an exciting and growing brand.”

The new location, near Park Plaza's south entrance facing West Markham Street, is slated to open later this year. With three locations opened earlier this year, including a flagship store in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Mr Brews is quickly establishing itself as a national name in the brewery space.

Mr Brews Taphouse provides a high-quality “ex-beer-ience,” along with a vast selection of crave-able offerings, including gourmet burgers, Beer & Cheese Flights, Brisket Grilled Cheese Sandwiches, Grilled Ribeye Sandwiches and a lineup of flatbreads and burger bowls.

Mr Brews Taphouse will be the first sit-down restaurant to open at Park Plaza since Second Horizon Capital acquired the property in 2023. The addition of the family-friendly, community-focused restaurant continues the mall's transformation into a community hub and regional economic catalyst.
