The PrideStaff Companies Oatmeal and Dried Fruit Drive Yields Significant Donations to the Fresno Mission

August 07, 2024 // Franchising.com // The PrideStaff Companies recently made a significant impact on the Fresno community with an Oatmeal & Dried Fruit Drive that directly benefited the Fresno Mission.

PrideStaff’s home office, its Rx relief and Insurance Relief divisions, and the Fresno office collected a total of 448 donations - comprising 267 oatmeal and 181 dried fruit items. This remarkable effort continues The PrideStaff Companies’ ongoing partnership with the Fresno Mission, a venerable institution dedicated to changing lives for the better. Originally founded in 1949 and now operating several locations for ministry services, the Fresno Mission supports the community by providing daily meals, clothing, education, counseling, housing, childcare, and more.

Desmond Camacho, Director of Business Development and Mobilization at the Fresno Mission, highlighted the impact of the Oatmeal & Dried Fruit Drive. “Our number of meals served is rising. The oatmeal and dried fruit will help provide a healthy meal of dignity and help us save tremendously on our budget, since these are some of our highest costing items.”

Tammi Heaton and Mike Aprile, Co-CEOs of PrideStaff, are thrilled by the high level of participation in the drive. “Mike and I are immensely grateful for the overwhelming support and generosity displayed during the Oatmeal & Dried Fruit drive,” said Heaton. “We’re proud to support this essential organization.
