SYNERGY HomeCare Fortifies Its Presence in Greater Los Angeles

August 15, 2024 // Franchising.com // Tempe, Ariz. - SYNERGY® HomeCare has announced its newest franchise located 30 minutes outside of downtown Los Angeles, SYNERGY HomeCare of Whittier.

The company is led by husband-and-wife duo, Julio and Julia Jimenez. Julio brings 17 years of experience in leadership and management roles, while Julia has already spent over a decade providing care as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).

Headquartered at 7356 Painter Ave. Suite 106 in Whittier, the company assists the city’s residents as well as the communities of Santa Fe Springs and Downey with a wide variety of non-medical in-home care options, from companion care to personal care and respite care.

Thanks to Julia’s experience in the healthcare industry, she and Julio were able to recognize a widespread growing need for these services, particularly among Baby Boomers.

Long before the couple shifted their focus towards entrepreneurship or the homecare industry, they were already acting as caregivers for both of their grandmothers, which is what they cite as their earliest source of inspiration for deciding to pursue the field professionally. Both Julio and Julia took great pride and felt immense satisfaction from being able to improve the quality of life of a loved one.

“The satisfaction we feel from witnessing the happiness and contentment of a loved one is immeasurable,” said Julio. “No other role I’ve ever served comes close. It truly is a privilege to help address the needs of others, and now that we get to do it professionally, we promise to fully commit ourselves to extending this love and care to anyone who needs it.”

Along with their commitment to caregiving, the Jimenezes bring decades of professional experience that can further benefit their clients and caregivers. Julio spent nearly 20 years working in aerospace, climbing the ranks of one of the most prominent manufacturing companies in the industry. Julia has already spent her entire professional career working in healthcare environments as an LVN and offers extensive caregiving knowledge.

“We both were happy with what we were doing before this, but we wanted to do something we love while also getting to do it side by side,” said Julia. “Our shared experiences with our grandmothers told us that we were both capable caregivers who enjoyed helping others, but it was our conversations with other SYNERGY HomeCare franchise owners that let us know this career was our answer. The stories of genuine compassion and support that we heard compelled us to join the field and join this family. We want to be the next company in the network that can share stories of how our care changed lives.”

Greater Los Angeles is one of the largest metropolitan areas in the U.S. with a significant aging population as well a hospitals and medical facilities. Many members of this population need to rely on caregivers for additional assistance cooking, shopping, running errands, doing light housekeeping or going for walks. Some even require personal care, such as help with bathing, dressing or using the toilet.

“No ask is too big or too small,” said Julia. “Our ultimate goal is to bring happiness and brightness into every life we touch and we are excited to make that happen in any way possible.”
