Woody’s Bar-B-Q® Queues Up a Hen Vs. Heifer Summer Smackdown

By smoking chicken and beef top-round to pull-apart tenderness, the classic Southern BBQ chain has created the perfect canvas for its guests to add their choice of sauces, allowing for maximum absorption of both moisture and flavor. Available in guests’ pick of a sandwich or dinner, this special promotion marks a battle royale between hen and heifer to see which one will come out on top among these Farmyard Faves. All four menu items will be available at participating Woody’s Bar-B-Q locations from August 20 to September 30, 2024. The suggested retail price for both sandwiches is $11.99, and for both dinners is $14.99, although prices may vary slightly from one location to the next. Lunch portions of the dinners will also be available at the suggested retail price of $12.99.

The Handheld Hen - Pulled Chicken Sandwich on a toasted bun topped with cheddar cheese and pickles served with patron’s choice of one side
The Hefty Hen - Pulled Chicken Dinner, served with patron’s choice of two sides - also available as a lunch portion
The Handheld Heifer - Pulled Beef Sandwich on a toasted bun, served with patron’s choice of one side
The Hearty Heifer - Pulled Beef Dinner, served with patron’s choice of two sides - also available as a lunch portion

To tailor each dish to fit the guest’s favorite flavor profile, Woody’s available sauces include Woody’s Gold, Southern Sweet, Tangy Mustard, and Piggin’ Hot.
