Sir Grout Multi-Unit Franchisees Expand to Third Territory in Florida

August 21, 2024 // Franchising.com // BOSTON - Sir Grout has awarded a territory in Volusia County to Kathryn Boyce and Ann Mulligan, existing franchise owners of territories in Lake and Seminole Counties.

Boyce and Ann now service Lake, Seminole and Volusia Counties, which includes the Villages, one of the largest retirement communities in Florida. Boyce has been in franchising for nearly two decades, and Mulligan comes from a background in civil engineering. Mulligan is a Florida native, and Boyce has called the state home since 1986. In addition to co-owning Sir Grout, they invest in their local community by partnering with area dog shelters, and Kathryn sits on the board of Pet Alliance.

“Sir Grout is a natural fit for us and these communities in Florida,” said Boyce. “The state has welcomed a flood of new homeowners in recent years which means there’s an opportunity to introduce them to a more affordable way to refresh and restore hard surfaces without sacrificing on quality. The business model also fits our goals of owning a reputable, scalable franchise that can make a positive impact in our local community and surrounding areas.”

Sir Grout’s Brand Leader Philip Gill said, “We look forward to supporting Kathryn and Ann as they serve a new community in Florida,” said Gill. “They have successfully established a strong presence in Lake and Seminole Counties, and we’re confident they will carry on their legacy as they enter Volusia County.”
