Industry-Disrupting Cheeseburger Slider Brand Dropping More Cans in the Lonestar State
August 26, 2024 // Franchising.com // EL PASO, Texas - Smalls Sliders has signed a second development agreement with esteemed entrepreneurial group Rehman and Talha Ahmed and three of their business partners. Continuing expansion throughout Texas, the group will be developing four total Cans across the El Paso region.
The group brings a wealth of diverse business expertise to this new venture. Talha, with hands-on experience in every aspect of the restaurant industry - from cook to management - combines her practical knowledge with a bachelor's degree in finance, positioning her to deeply engage in both financial and operational roles. Rehman, who learned the ins and outs of restaurant operations from a young age, will spearhead Can development while playing a key role in day-to-day operations. Beyond their individual strengths, the group boasts extensive franchise experience, managing over 140 units for leading brands like KFC, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut.

This is one of two major agreements signed by Talha, Rehman and their business partners. Alongside a five-unit agreement in Tucson, Arizona, this venture will strategically target communities across El Paso, including Ciudad Juárez, Sunland Park, and others. The first two units are slated to open in 2025.
