DUCTZ Comes to Texas With New Franchise Location Opening

September 03, 2024 // Franchising.com // TEXAS – DUCTZ is opening a new Texas franchise location in White Oak, Texas. 

The franchise location opened in mid-August, and is owned and operated by Walter Herrera. While serving in the United States Marine Corps and Air Force Reserves for two decades, Walter earned his bachelor's degree in business. Walter currently works as a fireman in Tyler, TX, and is looking forward to operating his DUCTZ business and providing essential indoor air quality services. In his free time, Walter enjoys fishing and spending time with family.

“Throughout my time serving my country and subsequent career as a fireman, I have always been motivated by the prospect of helping others,” said Walter Herrera, owner of DUCTZ of Tyler and Longview. “Because of this, I knew I wanted to continue serving my community by providing important services focused on health and safety. This, combined with how the brand’s staff and employees immediately made me feel like family, made my decision to franchise with DUCTZ fairly simple. I am starting this business with the support of my wife and family, as well as the invaluable help of my sister-in-law, who is also a veteran and will be working alongside me as an employee. As my team and I begin to offer air duct cleaning and HVAC restoration services, we look forward to handling the indoor air quality needs of clients in Tyler, Longview, and the surrounding areas.”
