September 05, 2024 // Franchising.com // COLUMBIA, Md. — Dill Dinkers has quickly risen to prominence for its fun, friendly, and welcoming environment where players of all ages and skill levels can play, socialize, and improve their skills.

Jim and Mia Cassady, supported by their unwavering dedication to community enrichment and their extensive professional backgrounds, are excited to introduce Dill Dinkers' innovative indoor pickleball concept to Delaware County and Northern Delaware. Jim's career spans over 25 years in the pharmaceutical industry, with expertise in IT and global Omni-Channel marketing. His strategic marketing insights and business background, honed over years of navigating dynamic corporate landscapes, provide a solid foundation for the successful launch and operation of running Dill Dinkers' clubs. Mia brings a compassionate touch to the team with her extensive experience as a school-based Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA), specializing in pediatrics and learning disabilities. Her deep understanding of individual needs and her commitment to fostering inclusive environments will ensure that Dill Dinkers of Northern Delaware will be a welcoming space for players of all ages and abilities.

"Five years ago, my wife Mia and I discovered pickleball and quickly became hooked on the sport. We soon encountered the frustrating reality of limited court availability, especially during peak times and bad weather”, said Jim Cassady. “Recognizing the high demand for quality court space and the potential to make a meaningful impact on surrounding communities, we wanted to bring the best pickleball experience to Delaware County and Northern Delaware. We're excited to bring this invaluable concept to our community.”

The Cassadys’ collective expertise uniquely positions them to drive Dill Dinkers' mission forward, providing a premier indoor pickleball experience while positively impacting their local community.

“Jim and Mia embody the ideal regional developers for Dill Dinkers”, said Dr. Ben Litalien, Chief Development Officer at Dill Dinkers. “Their robust experience, background and established networks position them for success in Delaware County and Northern Delaware. They understand the profound impact pickleball can have locally, and we're thrilled to stand behind them as they create something truly special for their community and for Dill Dinkers.”

"We started Dill Dinkers because of our unwavering passion for the sport and the community it has provided us,” said Co-Founder and CEO Will Richards. “As a former Dominos multi-unit franchisee, we are thrilled to welcome experienced operators like the Cassady’s who are just as passionate about spreading the joy of pickleball. We look forward to seeing how the team extends our name in Delaware.”
